2014 Desk Calendar

I am so super excited to be back on the design team for The Cutting Cafe.   My first project was to make ANYTHING I wanted. HA! I spent hours looking at files and trying to figure out what I should do then one day I was sitting at my craft table, grabbed my phone to see what the date was then it hit me - I should make a desk calendar!

I used the 2014 Calendar printable set and the Calendar Holder. (click on the links to get a set for yourself)

I used some leftover papers and stickers from Kaisercraft. I love how simple this project is to make but comes out looking amazing...

Until next time

Cricut Flower Shoppe - Flowers

For the last several weeks I have been playing with the Flower Shoppe cartridge trying to come up with 10 unique flowers for a class I am doing. I am so happy with the results.

I am writing up directions for each flower and will post later.

Fight Like a Girl - Free SVG File

Many of you know my Sister-in-Law was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. On Facebook someone posted a picture I knew would make a great SVG file so I whipped one up.... You can get the free file by clicking "Here". Would love to see if you make something with it.

3D Teacup - Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2

I am in love with the new Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 cartridge Cricut came out with but wasn't so excited about going out and buying a new housing for my Cricut to score. I remembered someone posting that you can 'flip' an old blade around in the existing housing and use it to do your scoring. Well, I gave it a try and loved the results....

WARNING: Practice with some old paper that is the same weight as you will be using on your project. I had my pressure up to high and my paper ripped.

In the area?? I will be doing a make-n-take this Wednesday, March 21st at Hearts-n-Crafts between 10:30 and 1pm for $5.

Special thanks to Amy from http://www.scrappingmommy.com for the inspiration...
