Hello Kitty Cake and Cake Box

One of my scrapbooking friends asked me to make her a Hello Kitty Cake with a matching cake box similar to the one I made for my sister-in-law last year for her Birthday. I used my Cricut Cake and the Hello Kitty Font and cut out Wilton Sugar sheets for the cake. They are so easy to use except for the white - I had to use two layers of white and pink to hide the black from showing through. I love the outcome. ~Tee

Wine Bottle Cake

My brother in law asked me for a cake for his wife's birthday. They are having a wine party and he wanted the cake to be red, zebra and wine.. This is what I came up with.... Love it! The zebra is Wilton's Sugar Sheets, the red is Duff fondant, the white around the bottle is white chocolate shavings and the bottle was made by making a gum paste mold of a real bottle of wine. The wine label was printed using edible ink and a frosting sheet. Everything you see is edible.

Damask Cake using SVG Attic Rose file

I want to share with you a cake I made this past weekend using the rose from the Be Mine collection from SVGAttic. I am so in love with this rose that I HAD to try using it with fondant and loved the result. I used a 50/50 mix of fondant and gum paste and rolled out about 1/4" thick. ~~Tee

Happy Birthday Roxy - Hello Kitty Cake

My beautiful sister-in-law, Roxann, gave me the honor of making the cake for her birthday. Her request was Hello Kitty with animal print or damask and of course red velvet. I used my Cricut Cake and Wilton's Sugar Sheets to cut out Hello Kitty - I loved how it turned out, however, was a little sad to cut it. So, I made a custom cake box that she could keep after th e cake was gone.

Raider Cake - Really Randy?

I really got a lot of slack from my Facebook friends that this cake was Raider - but it was Randy's birthday and his request. This cake turned out much better than I expected.
