What do you do with your scraps?

For the longest time I used to hand on to every little scrap of paper/cardstock I had left after a project but it soon became a big box of unused stuff and no idea what I had in there so I decided I would hang on to my scraps for a month and reserve one day a month to use them up and making cards... I wish I could say kept this up over the year but I would be lying! So, tonight I decided it was time to break open that box and start using up those scraps..... Here is my first card for the night.. I hope this inspires you to use up those scraps and build a nice supply of card! ~Tee

Elmo Cake with Custom Cake Box

Here is my latest cake using my Cricut Cake and MMF. I used a SVG file and MMF for the fondant Elmo on top of the cake and Sesame Street Cricut Cartridge for the Elmo on the Box.  The box is a SVG file I created awhile back that opens in the front making it easy to slide the cake out.  I made a HUGE mistake on this cake and once I discovered it I felt horrible - - Joanna is 6 years old not 9... I knew that in making the cake but didn't pay much attention when I added the 6/9 to the cake... ugh! Attention to detail Tee... Thankfully, my customer could easily remove the age and flip it around and she didn't seem upset at all... whew!

Elegant Edges Card

About a year ago I came across a card that looked 'somewhat' like this one and knew I had to buy the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge..... I love the versatility of this cartridge and think it is becoming one of my favorites. Recipe: Elegant Edges - (Eyelet2) 5"                       - (Circles) 3" Accent Essentials - (Acct4s) 4 cut at 2.5, 2.25, 2.0 & 1.75 then distressed with water

Fight Like a Girl - Free SVG File

Many of you know my Sister-in-Law was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. On Facebook someone posted a picture I knew would make a great SVG file so I whipped one up.... You can get the free file by clicking " Here ". Would love to see if you make something with it. ~Tee Clicke " here " for the file

Have you heard the buzzzzzzz...........

Isn't she cute? I used the bee from the a Valentine kit available from My Scrap Chick , I made it into a card that opens at the wings. My cousin is having a baby and this is what I came up with as a possible invite.

Watermelons and Picnics Blog Hop

This is the Watermelons and Picnic blog hop where we have lots of creative things to express our love of summer and picnics and watermelon. Please start at Lorby's World, our hostesses' blog and continue from there. Jearise in Lorby's World will be giving out a special prize to one special winner just for leaving a comment and becoming a follower of her blog. So grab your family, friends and neighbors and let's go on a picnic... For my project I made this cute Ladybug gift box using Cricut Create a Critter. My ladybug is cute at 3 1/2", cut twice with a box between the two layers. I pop dotted the face and added white paper behind the eyes and drew them in using a black and white pen. Here is the complete line up in case you get lost or someone has a broken link and thank you so much for hopping with us today.
