What do you do with your scraps?

For the longest time I used to hand on to every little scrap of paper/cardstock I had left after a project but it soon became a big box of unused stuff and no idea what I had in there so I decided I would hang on to my scraps for a month and reserve one day a month to use them up and making cards... I wish I could say kept this up over the year but I would be lying! So, tonight I decided it was time to break open that box and start using up those scraps..... Here is my first card for the night..

I hope this inspires you to use up those scraps and build a nice supply of card!

  5. I hold onto all of my scraps and use only scraps on any cards that I make. I just need to make more layouts and/or cards because I have been looking at the same scraps way too long and I need to have some new scraps to play with.

I really like your card, Tee. I love all the different papers that you used. Looks like a fun card to make.

Cutters Creek Design Team Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Cutters Creek Design Team Holiday Blog Hop! We want you to hop along with us and play for some awesome Blog Candy. The objective for our Blog Hop this weekend is to provide some inspiration to help you get your holiday crafting underway! Our Design Team has come up with some fabulous projects and we have a little bit of everything, from cards to gift ideas, and home décor items. So we invite you to hop along with us and get your creative juices flowing! For my project I went to the 99cent store and found this frame, but it was white. I first panted it black then glued the glass into the frame with e6000.  I then took some ribbon and some graphic 45 papers and glued them to the frame - just love how it turned out. The word December was cut using vinyl and the December 25th new cricut cartridge...  **Special Request**  I would asked if I would make a svg file that is similar to the one used here - I didn't make it exact because of copyright laws....

This month Lorby's World of Hops has challenged this talented crafters by asking them to create something that is white on white with a touch of color. I know you will be as pleasantly surprised to see what they have come up with. There is so much talent here that I know they have risen to the occasion and have some wonderful projects to share. So please begin at Lorby's World since she is our hostess and has a give away going on with this hop. She has all the details on her blog. I (Tee) am a guest hostess and am offering a give away from The Cutting Cafe who is our sponsor this month to one lucky person who leaves a comment below.   Please visit The Cutting Cafe to see all their beautiful printable and cutting files. Now let's begin this hop. For my project I embossed two pieces of white paper. I fuzzy cut some of the embossed pieces and used pop dots to give it a POP. I placed is a very thin pink border (for my splash of color), added a white ribbon, a...
