2013 Desk Calendar

Want to make yourself a very simple desk calendar for 2013?  Here is how you can do it. Take two pieces of chipboard, size of your choice (I used 6x6) and cover both sides with patterned paper. Go to The Cutting Cafe and buy the 2013 Calendar Printable Set. The set comes with several different amazing sets to choose from. Punch a hole in the top of your calendars and adhere to your chipboard with a brad. Tie ribbon around the top to make into a tent. Easy Peesy!  ~Tee

Christmas Ornament Fun

Ok, so I am a bonehead! I did the wrong file for this week's design team project at The Cutting Cafe so this morning I 'whipped' together this new card using the right file called " Christmas Ornament Fun " I have to tell you how easy it is to make a beautiful card very quickly using The Cutting Cafe files. I did this card in about 10 mins (hope it doesn't look like a 10 min card) :) ~Tee

Snowman Snowglobe

Here is a Snowman Snowglobe card I create using George Basic Shapes and Doodlecharms cricut cartridges. I create the file in my gyspy (file can be downloaded " HERE "). Everything except the acrylic piece is included in the gyspy file. The acrylic was cut at 4.2" I laid all my papers on my mat (with the exception of the acrylic) so I could cut all the pieces at one time. ~~Tee Note: If you are having problems downloading the gypsy files click " here " to download it in a zip file.

Window Sill Christmas Card

Here is a card I made for a customer using the Window Sill card from The Cutting Cafe and Winter Folic Crict Cartridge and lots and lots of stickles!

Poinsettia Gift Bag

I had some free time today to play with paper and my cricut cartridges. I made the bag using Tags, Bags Boxes and More and my 12x24" cutting mat. I cut the bag at fit to page... I then used the Joy of the Season cartridge to make this pink poinsettia at 4.75". I cut it in the green, bright pink and light pink. I inked the bright pink in white ink, the light pink in a darker pink and the green with tea green. I then cut 3 white snowflakes at 3" and three pink snowflakes at 1.5'. Covered everything with Diamond stickles and a few rhinestones and a touch of pink tulle behind the poinsettia.  Finished it off with a small tag cut from some left over paper. I so love how this turned out - all I need now is some pink tissue paper and a gift to put on the inside.

Hello Kitty Head - SVG File

I saw a friend on FB needing a Hello Kitty SVG file - so I whipped one together.... You can download the svg file " HERE ", all I ask is you leave me a comment when you do.. Thanks! :)

Cutters Creek Design Team Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Cutters Creek Design Team Holiday Blog Hop! We want you to hop along with us and play for some awesome Blog Candy. The objective for our Blog Hop this weekend is to provide some inspiration to help you get your holiday crafting underway! Our Design Team has come up with some fabulous projects and we have a little bit of everything, from cards to gift ideas, and home décor items. So we invite you to hop along with us and get your creative juices flowing! For my project I went to the 99cent store and found this frame, but it was white. I first panted it black then glued the glass into the frame with e6000.  I then took some ribbon and some graphic 45 papers and glued them to the frame - just love how it turned out. The word December was cut using vinyl and the December 25th new cricut cartridge...  **Special Request**  I would asked if I would make a svg file that is similar to the one used here - I didn't make it exact because of copyright laws....

Save the Hooters

This week at The Cutting Cafe we are bringing awareness to breast cancer. Many of you know my Sister in Law, Roxann, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is going in for her second surgery this coming Tuesday.  I made this card for her with the purple heart in the middle to represent her Mom who passed away a little over a year ago, purple was Linda's favorite color. I want Roxann to know that not only is the entire family behind her in her journey to recovery but so is her Mom, in spirit and in the hearts of us all. I love you Roxann! ~Tee The files are available for purchase at The Cutting Cafe for $3.99
