Poinsettia Gift Bag

I had some free time today to play with paper and my cricut cartridges.

I made the bag using Tags, Bags Boxes and More and my 12x24" cutting mat. I cut the bag at fit to page...

I then used the Joy of the Season cartridge to make this pink poinsettia at 4.75". I cut it in the green, bright pink and light pink. I inked the bright pink in white ink, the light pink in a darker pink and the green with tea green.

I then cut 3 white snowflakes at 3" and three pink snowflakes at 1.5'.
Covered everything with Diamond stickles and a few rhinestones and a touch of pink tulle behind the poinsettia.  Finished it off with a small tag cut from some left over paper.

I so love how this turned out - all I need now is some pink tissue paper and a gift to put on the inside.

  1. This is absolutely gorgeous! I too have a 12x24 mat for my expression but have such a hard time finding paper to fit it. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Cutters Creek Design Team Holiday Blog Hop! We want you to hop along with us and play for some awesome Blog Candy. The objective for our Blog Hop this weekend is to provide some inspiration to help you get your holiday crafting underway! Our Design Team has come up with some fabulous projects and we have a little bit of everything, from cards to gift ideas, and home décor items. So we invite you to hop along with us and get your creative juices flowing! For my project I went to the 99cent store and found this frame, but it was white. I first panted it black then glued the glass into the frame with e6000.  I then took some ribbon and some graphic 45 papers and glued them to the frame - just love how it turned out. The word December was cut using vinyl and the December 25th new cricut cartridge...  **Special Request**  I would asked if I would make a svg file that is similar to the one used here - I didn't make it exact because of copyright laws....

I know you will be as pleasantly surprised to see what they have come up with. There is so much talent here that I know they have risen to the occasion and have some wonderful projects to share. So please begin at Lorby's World since she is our hostess and has a give away going on with this hop. She has all the details on her blog. I (Tee) am a guest hostess and am offering a give away from The Cutting Cafe who is our sponsor this month to one lucky person who leaves a comment below.   Please visit The Cutting Cafe to see all their beautiful printable and cutting files. Now let's begin this hop. For my project I embossed two pieces of white paper. I fuzzy cut some of the embossed pieces and used pop dots to give it a POP. I placed is a very thin pink border (for my splash of color), added a white ribbon, a...
