Save the Hooters

This week at The Cutting Cafe we are bringing awareness to breast cancer. Many of you know my Sister in Law, Roxann, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is going in for her second surgery this coming Tuesday.  I made this card for her with the purple heart in the middle to represent her Mom who passed away a little over a year ago, purple was Linda's favorite color.

I want Roxann to know that not only is the entire family behind her in her journey to recovery but so is her Mom, in spirit and in the hearts of us all.

I love you Roxann!

The files are available for purchase at The Cutting Cafe for $3.99

  5. What a touching way to remind your sister-in-law of her mom as she's traveling her journey. I'm offering up a special prayer for her. As a breast cancer survivor I know how much she needs those prayers.

Cutters Creek Design Team Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Cutters Creek Design Team Holiday Blog Hop! We want you to hop along with us and play for some awesome Blog Candy. The objective for our Blog Hop this weekend is to provide some inspiration to help you get your holiday crafting underway! Our Design Team has come up with some fabulous projects and we have a little bit of everything, from cards to gift ideas, and home décor items. So we invite you to hop along with us and get your creative juices flowing! For my project I went to the 99cent store and found this frame, but it was white. I first panted it black then glued the glass into the frame with e6000.  I then took some ribbon and some graphic 45 papers and glued them to the frame - just love how it turned out. The word December was cut using vinyl and the December 25th new cricut cartridge...  **Special Request**  I would asked if I would make a svg file that is similar to the one used here - I didn't make it exact because of copyright laws.   You ca

White on White

This month Lorby's World of Hops has challenged this talented crafters by asking them to create something that is white on white with a touch of color. I know you will be as pleasantly surprised to see what they have come up with. There is so much talent here that I know they have risen to the occasion and have some wonderful projects to share. So please begin at Lorby's World since she is our hostess and has a give away going on with this hop. She has all the details on her blog. I (Tee) am a guest hostess and am offering a give away from The Cutting Cafe who is our sponsor this month to one lucky person who leaves a comment below.   Please visit The Cutting Cafe to see all their beautiful printable and cutting files. Now let's begin this hop. For my project I embossed two pieces of white paper. I fuzzy cut some of the embossed pieces and used pop dots to give it a POP. I placed is a very thin pink border (for my splash of color), added a white ribbon, a
