Wedding Card - Beautiful Rose by The Cutting Cafe

Hi Everyone, Happy Tuesday to you - Can you believe April is almost over? The weather is getting warmer and flowers are in full bloom... Speaking of flowers - I totally fell in love with this week's file from The Cutting Cafe - Beautiful Rose.

Even though this is a printable file you can still uese it in MTC by converting the PDF into a cut file.

I tried a new trick - I didn't want to have to pick up each petal and glue it on so I used transfer tape (the kind you use with vinyl). I laid a piece over the pieces on my mat, rubbed it well and picked it up as one piece.   I added my adhesive, then transferred it to my project. Super EASY.

  1. Love this! You are ingenuous. I would have never thought about transfer tape in that way.

  2. beautiful and what a great tip!!! I hate transfering all the little pieces...

  3. Love this so very, very much...You do know what that means don't you Tee!!!!

  4. Tee, this is soooooooooooooooooo love love

  5. by the way, you need to make a video showing us how you did the transfer thing....GENIUS..

  6. Very ingenuous card, I love the glitter petals!!

  7. What a gorgeous card! Love it!

  8. this turned out so nice..... I agree with Regina. It would be cool to see a video on this project.

  9. That glittered rose is totally spectacular

Cricut Flower Shoppe - Flowers

For the last several weeks I have been playing with the Flower Shoppe cartridge trying to come up with 10 unique flowers for a class I am doing. I am so happy with the results.

I am writing up directions for each flower and will post later.

Fight Like a Girl - Free SVG File

Many of you know my Sister-in-Law was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. On Facebook someone posted a picture I knew would make a great SVG file so I whipped one up.... You can get the free file by clicking "Here". Would love to see if you make something with it.

3D Teacup - Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2

I am in love with the new Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 cartridge Cricut came out with but wasn't so excited about going out and buying a new housing for my Cricut to score. I remembered someone posting that you can 'flip' an old blade around in the existing housing and use it to do your scoring. Well, I gave it a try and loved the results....

WARNING: Practice with some old paper that is the same weight as you will be using on your project. I had my pressure up to high and my paper ripped.

In the area?? I will be doing a make-n-take this Wednesday, March 21st at Hearts-n-Crafts between 10:30 and 1pm for $5.

Special thanks to Amy from for the inspiration...
