Birthday Card using Birthday Bash

Each week I do a Cricut class at my LSS and need to come up with a project that can be easily recreated by 55 to 60 Students that teach them new techniques using the Cricut.

This week I am teaching them how to FLIP - I had a tough time coming up with a project so I decided to make a birthday card with a window cut out of the center and make the Ice Cream twice (one flipped, so it would be a mirror image) and glue them back to back so you have the ice cream on the front and inside.... Not the cutest project I have ever made but it works!

  1. What a great idea, Tee... It turned out great!

  2. Looks cute to me. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Thanks for sharing. Really cute. And I don't ever do the window cards ... wouldn't have figured out to do what you did. Thanks for the great idea. Now I'll do window cards!

  4. Tee this is really cute!! Love it! I assume you cut the window card base on the cricut too. Really adorable card.
Thanks for sharing. You are so creative!

  5. Love this card. I use to outline (?) like this. I'm just getting back to crafting again. I need to get a new pen!

Cricut Flower Shoppe - Flowers

For the last several weeks I have been playing with the Flower Shoppe cartridge trying to come up with 10 unique flowers for a class I am doing. I am so happy with the results.

I am writing up directions for each flower and will post later.

Fight Like a Girl - Free SVG File

Many of you know my Sister-in-Law was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. On Facebook someone posted a picture I knew would make a great SVG file so I whipped one up.... You can get the free file by clicking "Here". Would love to see if you make something with it.

3D Teacup - Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2

I am in love with the new Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 cartridge Cricut came out with but wasn't so excited about going out and buying a new housing for my Cricut to score. I remembered someone posting that you can 'flip' an old blade around in the existing housing and use it to do your scoring. Well, I gave it a try and loved the results....

WARNING: Practice with some old paper that is the same weight as you will be using on your project. I had my pressure up to high and my paper ripped.

In the area?? I will be doing a make-n-take this Wednesday, March 21st at Hearts-n-Crafts between 10:30 and 1pm for $5.

Special thanks to Amy from for the inspiration...
