DT Project for SVGAttic - Father's Day Card

Is it too early to do father's day cards? :)  I came across this file, Cards for Dad, at SVG Attic and knew it would be a perfect card for my Dad who has really been there for me during the last year. I don't think I am going to wait until Father's day to send it - it is a great everyday card as well.

New Class - Watering Can trio

I have a new class using this beautiful paper from Teresa Collins. The class will be on April 12, 2012 from 6 to 9pm for $12.00. If you are in the area, come join me!

Easter Egg Holder or is it a Stickles Holder?

When I first saw this Easter Egg holder from SVGAttic I knew right away what I wanted to do with it and it had NOTHING to do with Easter or Eggs.... STICKLES Holder - YAY.... The original file is 8" which was a little big for what I wanted so I resized it to 7.37 and it was perfect. I just need 4 or 5 more to hold my collection. :)

Safari Themed Baby Shower

I had the honor of making the cake and some decorations for my niece, Marissa's, baby shower. Her theme was Safari which was so much fun to work with. Here is what I came up with. This is the cake that weight a hundred pounds. The animals were made with fondant/gumpaste mixture. Look at those cute booties made from SVG Attic's Baby Boy collection. eeekkkk - are they not just toooo cute? We intended to use them for nuts and candy on each table but no one wanted to put food in them in and risk ruining them. I also made a mobile for each table using SVG Attic Baby Boy and Create a Critter cartridge. Each table was a different animal. I used Birthday Bash for the banner.... What do you think? Did I due well for my niece?

Peep Show

I am here to show off how the cute rose box from the Be Mine collection at SVGAttic . It is the perfect size to hold 4 cute little peeps. The only modification I made to the file was to add a 'window' to the front of the box and cover it with a piece of plastic. This came together in about 15 mins - - eeekkk, isn't it adorable? The stamp is from  Shabby Chic Stamp Co.

SVG Attic DT Project - Pot o Gold

Happy Tuesday to you - Today I want to share with you a Pot o Gold I made using the Go Green kit from SVG Attic . I wanted a 3D pot of gold so I cut out the file twice at 5 1/2" then cut a strip of paper that measured 10x3. I first scored the long side at a 1/2 inch on each side then turned and scored at 2 1/2 and 7 1/2. I then glued this to the inside of the cut outs making a 3D object. See you next time ~~Tee

Damask Cake using SVG Attic Rose file

I want to share with you a cake I made this past weekend using the rose from the Be Mine collection from SVGAttic. I am so in love with this rose that I HAD to try using it with fondant and loved the result. I used a 50/50 mix of fondant and gum paste and rolled out about 1/4" thick. ~~Tee

Look Who's Turning 1 Cake

I am so excited to showcase the items I made for my friend Cynthia's daughter Sienna. I wanted to share this sooner but was waiting for pictures from the professional photographer that was at the party. The cake is all fondant and the owl was cut using my cricut cake and an svg file from SVG Attic called Give a Hoot . I also made 100 cupcake boxes and a smash cake for Sienna. I love how everything really came together and the bright colors.

I also just had to make some roses using the Be Mine kit because I am obsessed with these flowers.  Thanks for stopping by. ~~ Tee

SVGAttic - Be Mine

SVGAttic released their newest file this week called Be Mine. I fell in love with the card and knew I had the perfect Basic Grey paper to go with it. I did modify the file slightly by making an shadow on panel 1 so I would have a black layer and a leopard layer. I also added a black shadow to the LOVE word and cut out the V in the red version of LOVE. I love how this turned out just wish I could of gotten a better picture of it.
