Elmo Cake with Custom Cake Box

Here is my latest cake using my Cricut Cake and MMF. I used a SVG file and MMF for the fondant Elmo on top of the cake and Sesame Street Cricut Cartridge for the Elmo on the Box.  The box is a SVG file I created awhile back that opens in the front making it easy to slide the cake out.  I made a HUGE mistake on this cake and once I discovered it I felt horrible - - Joanna is 6 years old not 9... I knew that in making the cake but didn't pay much attention when I added the 6/9 to the cake... ugh! Attention to detail Tee... Thankfully, my customer could easily remove the age and flip it around and she didn't seem upset at all... whew!

Hello Kitty Cake and Cake Box

One of my scrapbooking friends asked me to make her a Hello Kitty Cake with a matching cake box similar to the one I made for my sister-in-law last year for her Birthday. I used my Cricut Cake and the Hello Kitty Font and cut out Wilton Sugar sheets for the cake. They are so easy to use except for the white - I had to use two layers of white and pink to hide the black from showing through. I love the outcome. ~Tee

Look Who's Turning 1 Cake

I am so excited to showcase the items I made for my friend Cynthia's daughter Sienna. I wanted to share this sooner but was waiting for pictures from the professional photographer that was at the party. The cake is all fondant and the owl was cut using my cricut cake and an svg file from SVG Attic called Give a Hoot . I also made 100 cupcake boxes and a smash cake for Sienna. I love how everything really came together and the bright colors.

Dora the Explorer & Deigo Cake

I have been looking forward to making this cake for my good friend Tram for her son's 3rd birthday. She sent me a picture of what she had in mind and this is my version of it. After several unsuccessful attempts at making Dora and Deigo out of chocolate transfers I decided to cut cut them out with my cricut using MTC.  The bottom layer is chocolate with ganache and top layer is butter yellow with lemon filling.

Pink, Black & White Birthday Cake

I got a text from an old co-worker asking if I would make the cake for her birthday - her only request was something PINK - EASY since Pink is also my favorite color. I had so much fun making this cake. I hope she loves it!! I made MMF for this cake. The white wasn't white enough so I added white gel coloring. I also decided to use this as an opportunity to play with some recipes. I made a vanilla milk chocolate cake with coffee instead of water, filling was a vanilla bean butter cream and I added crystal sugar to the filling for crunch - not sure how that will play out. Can't wait to get some feed back.

Happy First Birthday Vincent - Mickey Mouse Club

Here is my latest cake made for my great nephew's 1st birthday. I didn't have much time to spend on this cake with the passing of Grandma Vicky this week. It is fairly simple. I used my Cricut Cake to cut out the Mickey head and the stars.

Happy Birthday Roxy - Hello Kitty Cake

My beautiful sister-in-law, Roxann, gave me the honor of making the cake for her birthday. Her request was Hello Kitty with animal print or damask and of course red velvet. I used my Cricut Cake and Wilton's Sugar Sheets to cut out Hello Kitty - I loved how it turned out, however, was a little sad to cut it. So, I made a custom cake box that she could keep after th e cake was gone.

Raider Cake - Really Randy?

I really got a lot of slack from my Facebook friends that this cake was Raider - but it was Randy's birthday and his request. This cake turned out much better than I expected.

Jay's 3rd Birthday - Pirate Cake

My niece Samara asked if I could make a Pirate cake for my great nephew, Jayden, who is turning three today. The cake is coconut with fresh pineapple filing. I cut the Pirate using my Cricut Cake and Indie Art. The boat was cut by hand. This was my first time using Duff fondant. The red and black were very nice to work with but the white was almost translucent. I added brilliant white gel color get the white you see here. I love how it turned out and so did the birthday boy. At the end of the day, that's all that matters.

Pokemon made with Wilton Sugar Sheets

This past weekend was my nephew's 8th birthday and I had the pleasure of making his cake. Wilton had just come out with a new product called Sugar Sheets and I couldn't wait to try them with my Cricut. The blue is marshmallow fondant as are the stars. Everything else was cut using Wilton's Sugar Sheets.
