One Scrap at a Time

I had a customer who came into the store with a picture of a banner she saw somewhere online and wanted to see if we could make something similar. Here is the banner hanging at the customers home (I forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it to her).   I had a heck of a time finding red bandana patterned paper so I bought a fairly inexpensive digital paper pack online (etsy), loaded the jpg of the red bandana on my thumb drive and drove it to Staples to have it printed for $3.20 for 6 8x11 on cardstock. I only ended up sing 5 of the 6 sheets. Cricut Cartridges used: Create a Critter, George Basic Shapes and Birthday Bash. Thanks for looking ~Tee

Here is a Snowman Snowglobe card I create using George Basic Shapes and Doodlecharms cricut cartridges. I create the file in my gyspy (file can be downloaded " HERE "). Everything except the acrylic piece is included in the gyspy file. The acrylic was cut at 4.2" I laid all my papers on my mat (with the exception of the acrylic) so I could cut all the pieces at one time. ~~Tee Note: If you are having problems downloading the gypsy files click " here " to download it in a zip file.

 It is a beautiful warm day here in Sunny California so I was inspired to make a Simply Sweet card for my next Cricut class using circles from Basic George and just fold them in half. Making masculine cards has always been a challenge for me, how about you? Father's Day, Birthday, Anniversary? I plan on giving this card to Robert (from Chloe) on Father's Day. The tie was made using Wrap It Up cartridge and the shirt I used George.

This is my latest project for Hearts-n-Crafts scheduled for June 19th.... I picked up the frame, jar and wine from a discount store. I love turning inexpensive items into home decor. Earlier this month I made a candy box using the cricut cartridge George Basic Shapes. I decided to make another one using Valentines papers - I love how this turned out. Here is the video again in case you missed it!

**Update on 1/9/12 to include a video** I have seen so many beautiful 3-D SVG projects online lately, bought many of them but found I needed to get back to my roots of using my collection of cricut cartridges more often. This heart is my "prototype" for a class I want to do for February.
