Happy Birthday "Western" Banner

I had a customer who came into the store with a picture of a banner she saw somewhere online and wanted to see if we could make something similar. Here is the banner hanging at the customers home (I forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it to her).   I had a heck of a time finding red bandana patterned paper so I bought a fairly inexpensive digital paper pack online (etsy), loaded the jpg of the red bandana on my thumb drive and drove it to Staples to have it printed for $3.20 for 6 8x11 on cardstock. I only ended up sing 5 of the 6 sheets. Cricut Cartridges used: Create a Critter, George Basic Shapes and Birthday Bash. Thanks for looking ~Tee

Safari Themed Baby Shower

I had the honor of making the cake and some decorations for my niece, Marissa's, baby shower. Her theme was Safari which was so much fun to work with. Here is what I came up with. This is the cake that weight a hundred pounds. The animals were made with fondant/gumpaste mixture. Look at those cute booties made from SVG Attic's Baby Boy collection. eeekkkk - are they not just toooo cute? We intended to use them for nuts and candy on each table but no one wanted to put food in them in and risk ruining them. I also made a mobile for each table using SVG Attic Baby Boy and Create a Critter cartridge. Each table was a different animal. I used Birthday Bash for the banner.... What do you think? Did I due well for my niece?

Easter Candy Box Tutorial - Create a Critter

My girlfriend, Jearise , talked me into making a tutorial video on how to make this cute 3D candy box using Create a Critter.   I must admit it didn't take much to be talked into it. I think the entire conversation was ME: Maybe I will make a new video with this?? Jearise: I think you should. ME: Ok, I will make it! Haha, so here you are - my newest video tutorial. I did go into the settings of my cricut and changed the UNITS to 1/10 vs 1/4. Would love some feedback on my video - the good, the bad and the ugly. Wait, no bad or ugly... :) Oval is cut at: 3 @ 4.7 1 @ 4.5 1 @ 4.4 Chick and cracked egg is cut at 3 Strips are cut at 2" and 1 1/2" scored at the 1/2" Thanks for watching ~~Tee

Create a Critter - Hey Chickee!

My students challenged me to make a 3D Easter Egg for this week's Cricut Tips with Tee. I wanted to use Create a Critter but couldn't find an egg to use until I have the caption using special feature "phrase" found on the image with the Cow... The stamp is from Bunny Love by Shabby Chic Stamp Co. If you are in the area - come join me this Wednesday! Class is being offered on March 14th 10:30am to 1pm. ~Tee
