I am so excited to showcase the items I made for my friend Cynthia's daughter Sienna. I wanted to share this sooner but was waiting for pictures from the professional photographer that was at the party.
The cake is all fondant and the owl was cut using my cricut cake and an svg file from SVG Attic called Give a Hoot.
I also made 100 cupcake boxes and a smash cake for Sienna. I love how everything really came together and the bright colors.
Many of you know my Sister-in-Law was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. On Facebook someone posted a picture I knew would make a great SVG file so I whipped one up.... Welcome to the Cutters Creek Design Team Holiday Blog Hop! We want you to hop along with us and play for some awesome Blog Candy. The objective for our Blog Hop this weekend is to provide some inspiration to help you get your holiday crafting underway! Our Design Team has come up with some fabulous projects and we have a little bit of everything, from cards to gift ideas, and home décor items. So we invite you to hop along with us and get your creative juices flowing! For my project I went to the 99cent store and found this frame, but it was white. The word December was cut using vinyl and the December 25th new cricut cartridge... **Special Request** I would asked if I would make a svg file that is similar to the one used here - I didn't make it exact because of copyright laws. Please visit The Cutting Cafe to see all their beautiful printable and cutting files. Now let's begin this hop. For my project I embossed two pieces of white paper. ReplyDeleteLove this!! You did an amazing job. Did you use a recipe for the fondant? I'm still trying to learn how and what to use on my new Cricut Cake.
ReplyDeleteHi Mel, I used Duff Fondant for this project. I get it at Michaels with a 40% off coupon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, Tee. I'll check it out. We have a couple of family birthdays in March so I'm trying to pull together ideas.
