Flower Shoppe - Rolled Flowers

It is no surprise my favorite cartridge is Flower Shoppe.... I made these rolled flowers and leaves using that cartridge. I also used Elegant Edges and the center point on my Cricut to make the frame in the middle... I haven't figured out what I should put in the middle yet and so open to recommendations... ~~Tee

Cricut Flower Shoppe Roses Tutorial

I have gotten a lot of very positive feedback on my roses made with the Flower Shoppe cartridges that I decided to make a video to walk you though making them. See the video here: I cut my flowers at 2 1/2" and inked with Tim Holtz Distressed Inks. I hope this video inspires you to make your own! If you do, please make sure you post so I can see.

Cricut Craft Room, Masks - Earthly Elements

My niece is asked me to help make her some props for a photo shoot she has coming up for Homecoming. I was given a credit and used it to purcahse the Mask - Earthly Elements file from the CCR and transferred it to my Gypsy... I am having so much fun making these - we are going to add a stick to the left side so they can hold them up.

Birthday Card using Birthday Bash

Each week I do a Cricut class at my LSS and need to come up with a project that can be easily recreated by 55 to 60 Students that teach them new techniques using the Cricut. This week I am teaching them how to FLIP - I had a tough time coming up with a project so I decided to make a birthday card with a window cut out of the center and make the Ice Cream twice (one flipped, so it would be a mirror image) and glue them back to back so you have the ice cream on the front and inside.... Not the cutest project I have ever made but it works! ~Tee

Yellow is 2 1/2", Purple 2" and pink is 1 1/2" and by far the most difficult to make because of the size!

Lordy's World Chocolate Hop

Next to diamonds, chocolate is a girl's best friend and in some cases it may even rank higher than diamonds. This hop takes some neat approaches to chocolate so I hope you can take the time to hop through and see how these crafters expressed their love of chocolate. Hopefully you started at Lorby's World ( http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com ) and you made your way to my (Tee's) blog because I am giving away the two files I used for my project today from The Cutting Cafe to one lucky winner. To enter, just leave a comment and check back on Friday to see if you won. I would also appreciate it if you "followed" my blog but not necessary to win the files.... So get your box of hidden chocolate and enjoy the hop... My project today was make using The Cutting Cafe's Hershey Kiss Window Box and Everyday Hershey Kiss Bottom Printable. I needed a couple of "thank you" gifts and is better than dark chocolate kisses? Hmm, Nothing? Pretty sure it

Happy Halloween - Is it a bit CORNY?

This week at The Cutting Cafe we were given a choice between three amazing cards to work with and I choose Halloween but I thought doing a card was too easy so I turned my card into a wall hanger. My goal was to make my lettering look like Candy Corn and it looked amazing UNTIL I added Stickles... In most cases everything looks better "blinged" out but in this case it took away from the different shades of orange - - but still cute, no?
